Hi, I'm Roger Stern – I am trying to get the better players, from the area, together for a fun league. This league will be sent to people in Beaufort, Savannah, as well as Charleston. I am hopeful that this format makes a trip worthwhile. (Options to play 2 matches in a day are a possibility).
AGE
+50
Each team may have 2 players over 40, 1 Male and 1 Female.
DUPR
This is a combined DUPR event.
The minimum team DUPR (at registration) is 17, and the maximum is 18.50.
Minimum player rating is 4.0.
Only 1 player on a team with a rating of +5.0.
Matches will not be posted to DUPR
TEAMS
Teams should consist of 6 players (or more): 3 Men and 3 Women.
We don’t want matches forfeited – if teams are short players, they can bring one in with League permission.
LEAGUE
NPL Format
Match day teams consist of 4 players, 2 Men, 2 Women
Each match will consist of a MD, WD, and 4 MXD. Each player will play 3 matches
Matches will be played 2 out of 3 to 11 win by 2

SEASON
Season starts December 2025.
Saturday morning matches.
Teams need 2 courts to play on. (Should take around 2 hours to play)
The total number of teams will determine the number of matches we play – the goal is to play each team twice.
Playoff format TBD (likely format: top 4 teams make the playoffs).
BALLS
Each team will be required to supply League approved new balls.
The exact ball type is TBD.
FEES
$100 per Team
No one will be profiting from this league. The only expected expense is insurance – all other funds from entry fees will be awarded to the first and second place teams in the form of gifts.

OVERVIEW
The league will run from early November through February.
Teams will play every other weekend during the regular season.
Playoff formation will be announced during the middle of the season.
This is a "MD/WD/MXD" league (Men's Doubles, Women's Doubles and Mixed Doubles).
Matches will be played in Savannah, Blufton, Beaufort and Charleston.
Exact playing sites will be determined as teams register.
TEAM REQUIREMENTS
DUPR Requirements
All team members must have active DUPR accounts and ratings at the time of registration.
The combined DUPR for any 4 members of your team must be greater than 17.
Size Requirements
Your team may have up to 6 players.
Age Requirements
Each team is allowed one team member that is 30-40 years old.
All other team members must be 40 years old or older.
GAMEPLAY
On Gameday, you will play 3 matches against 3 different teams.
Each Match consists of 1 Men's Doubles, 1 Women's Doubles, and 2 Mixed Doubles, scored as follows:
Men's Doubles: Best of 3 games to 11, traditional scoring.
Women's Doubles: Best of 3 games to 11, traditional scoring.
Mixed Doubles: 1 game to 15, traditional scoring.
No subs during a match.
Team Fees
There is a $400 fee (per team) to join the league that is due at registration. This fee covers insurance, team shirts, balls, court time, and the end-of-season finale.
